FAQ
Questions and answers
When is ParBrahma available?
ParBrahma is coming soon on iOS and Android. We have not announced a date yet.
Is it free?
Yes, ParBrahma is free to use. There will also be an optional premium tier. Prices will be shown in the app and announced at launch. See Subscription & refunds.
Which languages are included?
Every verse is recited in Sanskrit. A spoken translation follows in Hindi or English; you choose which, and can change it at any time.
Does the app have Bhagavad Gita in Hindi?
Yes. Every verse is recited in the original Sanskrit and followed by a spoken Hindi translation, or an English one if you prefer. You can switch between Hindi and English at any time; the Sanskrit recitation stays the same.
Is it Gita or Geeta?
Both spellings are used for the same text. Gita and Geeta are two ways of writing the Sanskrit word गीता, "song", in English letters. You will also see Bhagavad Geeta, Bhagwat Geeta and Shrimad Bhagwat Gita (श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता). They all name the same scripture, which we call the Bhagavad Gita.
Can I listen with the screen off?
Yes. Playback continues in the background, and you can play, pause, skip forward and go back from the lock screen.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Download chapters and listen without a connection.
Is Conversation with Krishna really Krishna?
No. Conversation with Krishna is AI-generated. A computer model writes the replies, drawing on the Bhagavad Gita. The replies can be wrong. They are not religious authority and not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
Who recited and translated the verses?
Recitation: a synthesised voice, not a human reciter. Translations: both the English and the Hindi translation were written for ParBrahma. The Sanskrit text itself is in the public domain.
Is the content suitable for children?
Yes. The content of the app is suitable for all ages. Separately, Indian data-protection law (the DPDP Act 2023) requires a parent or guardian's consent to process a child's personal data, so a person under 18 needs a parent or guardian to hold the account. This is a rule about consent to data, not a rating of the content.
Do I need an account?
Yes. ParBrahma asks you to sign in before you start reading. Signing in with Google or Apple lets your progress sync across devices.
What data do you collect?
Your name and email, your Google or Apple sign-in identifier, reading and listening progress, the text of your AI conversations, a push notification token, and your subscription status. We do not record your voice, we do not run analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not sell or share your data. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account and data?
